England - Dover to London

Two of the popular sites to visit are the Painted Hall attached to King William Court and the Chapel attached to Queen Mary Court. The amazing ceiling and wall decorations of the Painted Hall cover over 3700 m² and took nineteen years from the start of the commission to its completion in 1726. The Chapel, which is still in use today, is also very impressive and its restoration after fire damage was completed in 1789.
